Growing Across Canada
SEED — Simcoe Engage and Empower With Dialogue — began with a simple belief: that meaningful change starts when people of every background sit at the same table.
Founded in 2024, we are a registered non-profit organization committed to uniting all people living in Canada, regardless of religion, background, culture, or origin.
From shared meals and cultural celebrations to youth leadership programs and cross-cultural dialogue, SEED creates welcoming spaces where newcomers, long-time residents, Indigenous peoples, and communities from all walks of life come together to plant something lasting.
Our Mission, Vision & Values
Three pillars that shape every gathering, conversation, and program we host.
Mission
To unite all people living in Canada through dialogue, shared experiences, and community-driven programs that celebrate our common humanity.
Vision
A Canada where every person — newcomer, neighbour, Indigenous, immigrant — feels they belong and contributes to a thriving, united nation from coast to coast to coast.
Values
Respect, inclusion, dialogue, and dignity. We believe diversity is Canada’s greatest strength and meaningful conversation is how we honour it.
What We Do
Four areas where we plant seeds and watch communities grow.
Cultural Celebrations
From Iftar dinners to Easter gatherings — events where every culture is welcomed, honoured, and shared.
Community Dialogue
Facilitated conversations that bridge divides — between generations, faiths, and backgrounds.
Youth Leadership
Equipping the next generation with the tools to lead inclusive communities wherever they go.
Newcomer Support
Welcoming new Canadians with the connections, resources, and community they need to thrive.
